About COOK
大阪出身のグラフィティ・アーティスト。20歳から単身ロサンゼルスに渡り、グラフィティ・ライターとしての腕を磨いた。「デビルマン」「うる星やつら」など日本アニメとのコラボワークも行っており、2011年には「映画エヴァンゲリオン」の公式グラフィティ・アートの制作を担当した。ロサンゼルスでは「手塚プロダクション」との共同企画「ASTRO BOY BIG MURAL（鉄腕アトムの巨大壁画）」の制作を行っている。他、レコードレーベル「Delicious Vinyl」のデザイナーとしての活動も行っており、本場アメリカにおいて高い評価を得ている。最近では「DREAMS COME TRUE」の舞台セットへのアートワークの提供、沖縄県宮古島におけるハンバーガーショップのプロデュースなど、その活動領域の広さと経験値の高さは日本随一と言える。
COOK was born in Osaka. He started his career as a graffiti writer when he was 20. He decided to move to Los Angeles for polish his skills. He also had collaborated with Japanese famous anime “Devil Man” and “UruseiYatsura” and worked on the official artwork of movie “Evangelion”in 2011. In LA, he had painted at the project of “ASTRO BOY BIG MURAL” produced by Tezuka Productions. He worked with a record label “Delicious Vinyl” as a designer. He has earned great acclaim for all of these artworks and his skills in the US. His contribution to the concert stage design of DREAMS COME TRUE, one of the most popular Japanese group. And so on, produce of a hamburger shop in Miyakojima-island, Okinawa Prefecture. He can deal with unexpected situations flexibly.
